60hp johnson tj60tlsm 1990 four stroke
Carburetor
There is a small dia brass tube sticking into the throttle area
Forward side.
I can see the hole in one end of the tube but can not see the other end.
I'm assuming the hole is supposed to go all the way thru.
I use a sewing pin to try and go thru but it stops....like it's full of
Dirt or something.
Should I see daylight thru that hole or is it supposed to be blind?
How would you clean it? I don't want to damage this.
Motor will run but only for about a couple of minutes till it dies at
Half throttle.
 
Ok, I got it. Carb cleaner finally opened it up. The end of the hole
Actually is not at the end but comes out facing the aft side of throttle.

I have several motors that I've been working on
 
Pretty hard to pull one on Racer. He's been around like 85 years. He might even be older than Joe Reeves....but that's almost impossible. When these guys talk.....wise men listen.
