I had a 13.5x15 solas on a BF90 19' mako. It would turn up to 6200 and do 33mph. I then installed a 13.5 x 17 ballistic and it would only turn up to 5500 and do 31mph. Both 3 blade stainless. I thought 6200 was review too high but was surprised to lose so many rpm and a bit of speed.

That's simply the nature of boat engines and props. The only way you can get it right is to experiment.
