" I have a Merc 9.8 (110) and am in need of a new prop. I have this motor on a little 12 foot aluminum. I know that the standard replacement is a 9x9 2 blade but should I be considering a 9x10 or 9x10.5 considering the very light boat?? I don't have a tach unfortunately but at full throttle it seems to rev pretty high. Any advice?? I appreciate any responses, thanks. "

" Rob,If you don't carry heavy loads very often then I would suggest the 9x10, But I think the 9x10.5 could be a little too big unless it's just you and the boat and little else. It's a good idea to keep a 9x9 as a spare incase you need to carry a heavy load. "
