Mercury Pro Kicker 9.9, about 7yrs old.
Started having problems recently.
Last time out, it would not go up. Ran the switch back and forth a few times and it went up, then could not get it to go back down. Lowered by running out the hydraulic release screw so we could use it.
The switch, connections and wire, all the way down to the motor on the tilt system, show no visible damage. No sound of any kind is heard when the switch is moved to the up or down position. The engine electric start works and my volt meter shows 13. 2 volts.
Thinking it may be the switch itself ?
Anybody ever have this issue? Suggestions and insights appreciated
