Power Trim/Tilt

1995 Johnson Oceanrunner 150HP - Just charged both batteries & installed. Power trim/tilt won't lift motor. Checked connection & they are clean and tight. I can hear solenoid clicking when "UP" bottom is pushed on side of motor & the button on hand throttle/shifter control. Anyone ever have this issue. If so what did you do to correct the problem.

Repair the wiring going to the motor or replace the motor.

You say you hear the solenoid click in, but you didn't say if the motor is actually running in the UP mode or not.

Doesn't that unit have two relays instead of a solenoid? If so, switch the relays... if the problem reverses itself, then one of the relays has failed.
