Power trim pump connector removal

I’m about to remove the power trim/tilt unit but can’t figure out how to dismantle the electrical connector? I have disconnected it but it’s too big to be pulled out throw the hole in the engine cover. Does anyone know how to dismantle the connector?

Picture of a new pump assembly with the same connector. But how to dismantle it to be able to pull the cable through the hole in the engine cover?

Thanks. That is interesting. It looks like it should be possible to pull out the cable without dismantle the connector according to the service manual.
The problem is that as far as I can see on my DF140 motor. The socket is too big to be pulled out via the cable entry in the cover. Also the entry is located underneath so it really hard to see.
