Points question for Bayliner Capri

I took my Bayliner Capri (2.3L Ford)out Saturday morning. It ran fine for about 30 minutes and then the points quit firing. I replaced the coil, and it still does the same thing. Does anyone know what could cause that?

Condenser went ? They gapped good you sand the points ? Crank it over while watching the points.

You got a kill switch ?

Know how to jump it with a wire after you try everything above ?

When it quits, check to see if there's 12 VDC at the positive terminal on the coil.

My guess is it's in need of new points and condensor. Is that a Mallory distributor?

If the distributor, dwell and timing all check out, it sounds more like a fuel problem.

i figured he checked for spark at the plugs and is now working back.
