Parting out NS 70 A2 Nissian

After months of trying to find what was wrong with my NS 70 A2 70 HP Nissan Outboard motor I was able to located a Nissan dealer that still had a few parts in stock. I had spent 500.00 listening to 4 diffident repair shops try and fix the motor. Every one failed and I was so upset and sick I was ready to strip the motor down and sell parts. Nissan dealer was able to identify the problem and had the part in stock and it cost me 350.00 with labor to get my motor back running. So for all the people emailing me about parts I am happy to say that I am going to keep my 70 hp a little longer. This thing has been almost bullet proof. the problem is when it is hit by a BB you may not be able to get parts. But for now, I will keep running. Thanks for all of the help I had from different people that offer help and finally convinced me to try a Nissan dealer.
