Maybe someone can help with this issue. I do not find much information in the shop manual. My system is designed to automatically transfer oil from the remote tank to the engine tank when the level is low. I can lift the Engine Tank Level sensor out of the engine tank which should activate an exchange and an alarm but nothing happens. I have checked and the pump works with the emergency transfer switch. I have also checked the engine tank sensor and find continuity at float position A, B and C. What am I missing?

Has the alarm been confirmed to be working?

Continuity across the float switches is one thing. Ground to the float switch and from the float switch to the CDI assembly is also needed.

I have not checked the alarm but did check that the pump was not running at sensor position C. If the ground is OK could this be a problem with the CDI Assembly?
