Overheating 85hp 1979

My 85 hp got hot when i tryied to use it so i replaced the thermostats (they were bad) and other parts had lower unit off and worked over the water pump. Well now i have lots of preasure out the pea hole, but it still gets hot. Whats my next move to fix?

is it just one cylinder heating up or are they all?

and what do you mean hot? can you put your hand on it for around 3 seconds?

oh ok. and your saying there is a strong pressure of water comeing out?

Yes lots of flow like a preasure washer.

ur thermostat then change that.
