Posting for my neighbor, but he bought an 89? or 79? omc Cobra 3.0L a few months ago. We had it out on the water just fine, but he decided to replace the water pump on it, but now it cranks, but fire. The plugs have been replaced, it's got compression, and most likely fuel. He's going to do a carb rebuild, but I wanted to post here and make sure there isn't something were missing.
