"Hello, first time posting here. Last time I was at the lake, I could not get on plane, not even over 15 mph. the RPMs are there, just not getting anywhere.
I went and had a new hub pressed on the prop that day. went back to the lake and was still having same problem. I hooked back up to trailer, before we pulled it out of the water I gave it WOT and it seemed like it wanted to push the truck up the ramp, felt allot of push. None the less, when I got home, I put her in forward gear, and I can spin the prop in both directions. I hear no noises in the drive. I can watch the prop spin with the shaft. I've been reading allot, and i'm thinking the coupler may be the problem??? ANY idea were i can find one?
