Hi, my 15+ year old two-stroke Johnson no longer starts. And recently, when it was running, I had to keep the throttle at minimum 1/3 to keep it from dying.
An Italian mechanic, with google translate, said "I fixed it, but there is a problem with the air screw and we need a new carburetor but with a little more gas it's fine." He says that the necessary parts are not available in Italy, where the motor is. I'm currently in California.
Thanks for any tips!!
Cheers,
Andrew
