Hi everyone out there,
I just recently purchased a Mariner 25hp around '80s model and as quiet often the seller simply chopped off the remote control and explained me which two cables will start the engine and which two goes on the kill switch.
The starting one works as it should but the kill switch is not working.
The seller cannot help anymore as he isn't sure.
Basically the two wires he showed me are one black that is connected to ground and the other one is a Black and Yellow comes from one of the ignition coil. Once connected it stops that cylinder but the other one is still running.
I tried to connect the two cables coming from both of the ignition coils and no wonder the fuse went off.
I searched all over the internet for days now and no luck
This way I can only stop one cylinder.
Any advice would be much appreciated where to connect the kill switch?
