454s gauge reads 100psi. The needle can not go any higher. Has anyone had that before?

"With the engine not running and key on, does it read 100psi? Could be a bad ground. Did you use teflon tape on the fitting? Is it a SW gauge or VDO? They require different senders."

"if its the same with the engine running or stopped, the sender wire is probably shorted to ground. Also check the supply and ground leads."
