[FONT="]i have a 2005 mercuy 90hp 4 stroke and i recently changed out the whole water pump and did an annual service.(oil/filter-spark plugs-water/fuel filter).after doing everything i hooked up the water to the lower unit started thye motor up and let it run for about 10 mins and walked away.when i came back i noticed there was oil on the ground so i quickly shut everything down.i noticed that there was oil on the ground and the upper cowling was filled with about a Qt of oil which started to leak down,i have no idea whats going on or what couldve happened.looking to see if anyone on here had a same issue or close to it or knows any answers
in the picture is where I found all the oil.can’t tell now but all was cleaned up [/FONT]
