1984 Mariner 150 HP 2 stroke SN 6608445. Between the injection pump and the drive gear is a plastic sleeve with a shoulder on one end. Also in the plastic sleeve is a perpendicular hole with a magnet in it. This rotating magnet sends a signal to the alarm module that the injection pump is working.
This plastic part is available (quicksilver #23-41429A 2)
My question is this, does this part come with the magnet installed? All the parts diagrams (oil injection pump item #9) do not show the magnet separately. I have lost the magnet. And need to resolve this issue. Thanks for your help.
