"I was told my many so called experts that using any parts other than VP for my 4.3GL-A was unwise,but it seems wise to me if I can save 50% on many parts I've seen.Can someone tell me the big difference between say VP manifolds/Props. as opposed to the other maifolds, gaskets, etc that are available. Is it just a name/money thang?"

"The big difference? Most of the times is just price. Some of the prices for VP parts are simply obscene, and I am the first one who will look for a reliable alternative if available. So far, I have had no problems with aftermarket parts from Sierra or GLM."

"I use and have used Sierra and GLM for years and years. Only one warranty problem from Sierra after useing 1000's of their parts and it was next day aired to me for exchange. With GLM, sometimes what you think should be included is not, so I have learned to ask and make sure I get everything I need for the job so there are no surprizes. Yes much less costly than OEM!!"
