No voltage to dash

My neighbor changed alternator and hooked wires incorrectly.
Now there is no power to the alternator or dash. Is there an inline fuse somewhere that could be the cause. If so where is it located?

Thanks.

Then its more likely to be a wiring issue (especially with "no power" at the alternator, assuming you are trying to measure +12VDC.

knowing which 'flavor' of engine you have will only help us reading your posts.

If you don't see battery voltage across the beg RED and BLK wires, coming from the engine harness, under the dash, then check the simple things first - main battery switch OFF, main circuit breaker (at the engine) tripped...and make sure you have battery voltage across the leads at the engine connections (typically starter and flywheel housing).
