Do you see the pics ?Can you see the part number of the stator? I will check but I believe they use the same flywheel. Do you have pics of the flywheel underneath to see if the magnets are screwed or glued?

I'm having difficulty with attaching the pictures. Now I see what u mean about the magnets under the flywheel. Yes mine are glued. Can I perform a resistance check on the rectifier ?http://www.marineengine.com/newparts/part_details.php?pnum=CDI194-5279I wouldnt chance starting it with the old regulator either and make sure the battery and all wiring is in good condition as well.
I Think I have a regulator, and I've already change that once before about 2-3 years ago. I'm Having difficulty with attaching the pictures. I wanted to show you the flywheel so you could see the magnets underneath. Do you really think I should get a new flywheel BC the magnets are weak ?If you are getting the CDI stator you cannot use a rectifier you must use the regulator.
