Nissan 20hp oil light on for 8 seconds

So I need some help with this one. My 2013 20 hp has been sitting a lot for the past decade. Noticed the oil light stays on for 8 seconds after start, hot or cold. Checked pressure with a gauge and it's good with 30+ psi instantly. Here is the weird part. Even with the wire off the pressure sensor, the light still stays on for 8 seconds after start. Can't be the sensor but what else could it be? Thanks for any help!

What is the actual model (not year)? The LED should never come on with the sender lead disconnected, unless there's a short to ground.

The engine is a NSF20C. I didn't see any obvious nicked wires or anything. Any ideas where to look for the grounding? Thanks

Check the LED housing itself as well.
