I was wondering if there was anyone here who might have an idea about a problem that I have. Boat is new 85 hours on engine. At about 40 hours motor would just roll back when cruising along at about 3000 rpms. Took it to dealer and got the run around big time because they were getting out of selling that type of boat. At some point they said that it was fixed: said that they replaced the high pressure fuel pump.
The motor is back doing the same thing at about 80 hours. There is an in line filter between fuel tank and low pressure pump and then the high pressure filter and pump which is inside the Fuel control cel. I'm tired of taking it back and forth to the shop and am ready to troubleshoot it myself. I thought about changing the inline 40 micron filter first.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
