New lifters

I am replacing the lifters in my Chrysler 1969 273.

The old ones are std size.

Do i go with standard size again or +.001

Standard would be a safer bet. If oversized, and they won't spin, the cam lobes will go away fast.

Be sure to coat hell out of them with break-in lube, and run the motor at 2,000 rpms for at least 10-15 minutes soon as it starts. Critical!

I will coat thoroughly and check the cam while I am in there.

Be sure to use a proper cam break in lube (like Lucas). Regular oil won't do it.

Thanks. Got some assembly lube and some break in oil additive. First project of the spring.
