New EEM Performance

I just had the EMM replaced on my '09 ETEC 130, E130DSLSE.

The first trip out, it only would develop 4900 rpm and was about 5-8 miles slower than normal speed. Ran at various speeds with several stops for about an hour.
Took it out the next day and right off, after about 10 min at idle and slow speed, it ran 5600 and normal speed.

Does it take a while for the new emm to learn the engine. Same exact load and section of still bayou and wind.

Is something hanging up in your throttle linkage ??

Exhaust valve in midsection may be sticking may need some lube. The newer ones have grease nipple and people add them to the older ones. My brothers got thy o pull his power head to fix his stuck shut and wont go over 4000.
