New block thermostat deck different from old block

So, finally getting my new BF200 block swapped out. Puttering along just fine until...Installing the thermostats, the port side mounting is diferent on my old block. The deck is about 3/4" lower. The thermostat falls into the hole. The starboard side is fine since the housing was taken off of the old block and installed on the new one. The port side has no housing to remove. On the old block, it is part of the block casting.

There should be another part I need, some sort of spacer I guess?

Never mind. The block I was replacing is an 06. The replacement casting is an 07 up. There is a spacer on the newer blocks. When I was on the parts diagrams for the 06, the part is not shown.

You will need a gasket and longer bolts.
