Neutra salt

I have a Four Winns with the Neutra salt system .Does anyone know if there is any differance between Neutra salt and Salt-Away.

While Neutra salt is a system that continuously adds a proprietary chemical to the raw water system to supposedly neutralize the harmful effects of seawater, Saltaway is a product used on an adhoc basis by the owner/mechanic. Same basic goal, different ways to accomplish it, although Saltaway very often is also used as a remedial product. I've used Saltaway for years. Based on the condition of a raw water cooled 1969 Chriscraft that I bought in 2005, it appears as if flushing an engine after every use with plain freshwater gives much the same benefit as either product. The P/O of the Chriscraft had plumbed in a "T" fitting and valves upstream of the engine mounted raw water pump to facilitate this flushing.
