Negative trim limit

I had a new 2021 mercury jet 150 installed on my 18’ flat bottom. I’m riding stern heavy/bow high and need to increase my negative trim to bring bow down and get out of hole on plane more efficiently. My question is can I increase my negative trim limit by adjusting the control module on the outboard? The other option is to add transom wedges to increase negative trim. However if I can increase the negative trim through recalibrating control module on outboard, I would not need transom wedges.
