another question needed answerd i have a evinrude model #e120tlesb outdrive and need to know what yr. it may be or is there another way to find out the motor is a vro v4 120hp evinrude model # again is e120tlesb thanks again

The OMC identification code, starting in 1980 is simply the word INTRODUCES, whereas each letter stands for a number. The letter I=1, N=2, T=3, R=4, etc. This code is imbedded within the model number of the engine. Within any model number, should the code "CS" be found, that stands for "80" (1980), "CR" would be "84" (1984), "ES" would be "90" (1990), etc.
