need identification and part number

i have a 1985 mercury 25 hp outboard serial # A162592 , i need to find the part number to order a gasket for the upper unit ( i guess thats what they call it ) its the section just above the lower unit,also need part number for thermostat,for the same motor,if by some chance this is the wrong model year , let me know,( one shop i had it at said it was an 1987 and another told me 1985,,also need model # if possible ....thanks and have a nice day

What colours are used on the cover decals.-------Picture ??

the colors are light brown and medium shade brown on stipes and white letters for mercury.i'd like to send a pic but don't know how .thanks
