I HAVE TRYED EVERYTHING TO GET RID OF A MISS IN THE ENGINE 3.0 1988 OMC CHEVY ENGINE

IT ONLY MISSES WHEN IT IS UNDER A LOAD ANYBODY
HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE IT RUNS JUST FINE WITH OUT THE PROP TURNING ON THE OMC OUTDRIVE
this engine is one a 1988 caprie bayliner
18 foot 4 cyl

Have you checked the interupt

Have you checked the interuptor spring to ensure that it isn't staying engaged?

Most likely in the ignition system. Do you have a distributor with points and condenser or is it an electronic module? Done anything to the ignition lately?
