Motor filling with water.

I have a 1965 6hp Evinrude motor. When I pulled the plugs to see if I had compression, water pumped from the spark plug holes. The gaskets and seals have been replaced on the drive shaft, including the gasket on the bottom of the motor. Where could the water be leaking into the motor. There are no apparent crakes on the outside of the motor.

Remove the cylinder head and inspect the gasket.--------The replacement gasket is a better quality.

Also check the exhaust cover gaskets.

Other water-entry routes: Turning motor upside down after removing it from boat. Needless to say dropping it overboard will do it too. How long have you had it?
