Mixing HP for dual outboards

Is it possible to have a 150hp motor and a 200hp motor together?
I suppose as long as the larger one is throttle back some to match up with smaller.

Are you talking a V-6 clamped next to a 4 cylinder?
Not too sure that would work out well.
Weight, prop differences, torque and sheer physical size come to mind.

If they run at the same prop rpm there is no issue.------Not much different than 2 horses in front of a cart.----Like how do you determine how much each one is " pulling "

Okay how about removing the 2 150hp Honda's and replacing with something in the range of 300hp like a Mercury or Yamaha?
The dual 150's moved the boat along in nice waters about 25mph. So I suppose the single 300 would do the same? Or should I look at 350hp?

Just dreaming a bit here, still faced with one that overheats. Not too much hair left on this old head, but also pockets are really tight too.

Is it okay to mix a Honda 150 with a Mercury/Yamaha 150?
