I have a Mercury 9.9 2 stroke the serial number is OD215267, it was made in Wisconsin, Im not exactly sure what year it is. I think its mid to late 90s. I tried looking up the serial number in the chart thread but I cant find it on the chart. Anyway, Im wanting to see if I can install the 15HP carb on this model, I think the carb I need is #1392-9726T18. Can anyone confirm that this carb would work with my model and if so do I need any other parts to make it operate as a 15HP engine? Also, if theres a better way to determine the exact year of the engine Im all ears. As I said I used the model year thread chart and couldnt find the year on there.</p>
