MFS9.8a3s burps.

When running this engine will sometimes "burp".When this happens power is reduced and the red light comes on.This only lasts a few seconds then the light goes out and power returns to normal.This has happened since the engine was fairly new.
There are 700 hrs.on this engine now.I keep the oil level at 3/4.
Any ideas out there.

I would use a mechanical gauge to verify oil pressure. The LED means that oil pressure is low, so you may have an actual low pressure, a failing pressure sender indicating a false low, a bad CD, or faulty wiring.
