Hello, I have recently bought a boat with two Mercury Verado 200HP and would like to ask a few questions.
I would like to ask about the trim: is it somehow configurable so that the engine cowlings do not bash on the boat on the fully up position? Also, why is it that in many cases, even when the boat stopped and calm waters, the "sync" trim does not really sync too well?
Regarding the steering, there is a linkage so both engines turn at the same time, and the linkage is really a large screw, how is this adjusted? I had some extra steel platforms fitted at the rear which surround the engines, but were fitted very, very closely with just few mm to spare. I was wondering whether they have messed with the linkage to stop the engines from contacting the steel framework.
