Mercury prop compatible with Tohatsu?

Can anyone tell me if a 2000 Mercury 25 hp prop is compatible with a 2008 Tohatsu 25 hp ?My prop is messed up and have access to the mercury prop...but hoping to know the answer before I take it apart!!
 
Depends. Probably. If both the Merc and the Tohatsu are 4-strokes (US market), and the LU is a Tohatsu, then Yes. As with everything Tohatsu, Model is the defining bit, not the year of manufacture.
