In general are Mercury parts in shorter supply than OMC motor parts?
Yesterday I picked up a 2005 Mercury 8 hp (209cc) 4 stroke outboard ser# 0R052738 model F8M(?) Japan origin. I thought I would look up some common parts such as a carb kit and water pump kit and such. I was surprised to find this site has nothing to offer in the way of a carb kit for this motor? I realize the motor is nearly 15 yrs old but a carburetor kit !? Not much luck with Mastertech Marine or Iboats either. Any other resources out there for Mercury parts?
