Mercury Merc 40 2-stroke motor

Hello, I’m new in the forum and with bouts, I just got my first boat and my engine is a Mercury Merc 40 from 1983 if I’m correct.
The motor runs but it leaks a bit of gas.
I will like to find the manual for the engine to see if I can take apart the carburetor and fix it.
I’m looking online but haven’t being able to find the manual.
