I cannot start my little 9.9 HP Mercury engine, I can crank the motor with electric tiller switch but I am not getting any spark with spark tester. The Lanyard switch works fine, tested with continuity tester in On/Off position. Wiring diagram here (MarineEngine.com) shows a 20 A fuse, but I don't know where it is. Is there anything specific I should check.
It just stopped suddenly a month ago when I was trying to start it with electric push button switch. I also tried with manual (rope) but no spark. Could you please guide me where to look and solve this problem. Thanks in advance!

Probably best to repost this in the Mercury Outboard Section.

Could be switch box or stator - get the factory diagnostic data and a DVA meter for fastest results...
