Mercury 80hp 4 cylinder 2 stroke

Hi fellow people
I have a mercury 80hp 4 cylinder 2 stroke
Just looking for some help with Idle bolt/nut help

Ok. What's your question? Remote is set to min throttle setting with boat in the water in F gear in motion. Lock nut is loosened and the screw is turned to obtain around 6-700 RPM; tighten lock nut. Done deal.

Hi mark which way do I turn the bolt ???

Back it out and the arm to which it's attach should follow maintaining zero gap between the tip of the screw and the mating surface. If you turn it the wrong way the RPMs will increase, not decrease.
