Mercury 70H.P. Internal Harness (P/N: 84-73204)

I would like to replace this harness on my old Merc but the part is not longer in production and I am having a heck of a time trying to find one aftermarket.

Anyone have any leads?

I've considered this. It may have to be the route I take. Just reaching out to see if there are any other options available first. Thanks so much for the tip.

My original harness for my 1977 500 is a part 45876. That part changed a couple of times and is now a 474-9550. I just purchased one on line. Never thought about making my own until reading racerone's post. Too bad. Probably could have saved some money.

Recieved new harness and installed. The original switch requires wires to be soldered. Pain in the bottom but got it finished and everything works as it should.
