Mercury 650 65HP motor no spark has CD ignition mid 70s vintage

I have a Mercury 3 cylinder model 650 65HP outboard and I am getting no spark to any cylinders.I checked all connections for coils and in the switchbox and they are clean.Has anybody had any similar experienced with this particular motor? should I be looking at the stator or the trigger coil?

Any advice is appreciated.Thanks
