I'm trying to help a friend of mine figure out why the tell tale will put out water for a little bit then will stop working for awhile then back working again. Can someone tell me what and where to look to find the problem? The motor is a 3.5 hp 4 stroke Mercury. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
