Hey I have this Mercury from late 1900s
It's a 6 cylinder 2 stroke with 225hp
I'm having kind of some weird issues with it.
1. When running it's running rough and shaking a bit (not much)
2. when trying to get the boat up in speed it looses power at 2000rpm and has a hard time getting the boat up going fast. But once the boat is up and riding the water it has no problems.
3. when going fast all of a sudden it reps up and then it dies completely. (Yes I can start the engine right after again)
Does anyone have any ideas what this can be? I just gave it 6 new spark plugs.
