The SN of the engine is OT302190. Model No 1F90412YD.
I am having a problem with a continuous alarm once it decides to go off. It can be reset and off I go again for another few minutes, then the alarm goes again. I have had the water channels flushed out and dont think there is a blockage. Replaced the poppet valve and the thermocouple.
So I took the thermo sensor (Pt No 804295T) into work and tested it to see what happens when temperature is increased.
At 78.5 degrees C the sensor resistance was 317ohms
@80 it was 311
@85 it was 260
@87 it was 250
@89 it was 240
@90 it was 235........alarm setting
@91 it was 231
@92 it was 226
Does anyone know if this is the correct characteristics for the thermo sensor. The readings appear fairly consistent going through the temp range.
