I have a 1 year old (2016) Mercury 15 hp 4 stroke. I run it a lot, and it has been great up until yesterday. After running about 30 minutes upriver, I shut it down for a couple of hours fishing. It cranked right up, but it would not plane the boat, and would not Rev up; after a couple of minutes it kind of spit, and ran fine. I when to my next spot, and shut it off again for about 30 minutes; started right up, but did the same thing. I am running treated ethanol gas, so I suspect that, or possibly a clogged fuel filter. Also, I am running the original plugs, and they probably have 150 or so hours on them.
Any ideas ? Dump the gas ?
