My boat is about 25 years old and it has a 10 wire Mercury ignition switch. I purchased a kill switch to install. The instructions refer to the Mercury 6 wire switch.
My 10 wire has 2 black and 2 black with yellow trace. A black and black with yellow trace are the wires used to install the kill switch. My question is which of the two black wires and which of the two black and yellow trace wires do I use? The motor is a two year old 95 hp 4 stroke.
