Is the Mercruiser 350 MAG 315 hp engine an older model? Anyone have any experience with it? Its priced lower than all the others, $8700. I'm looking because I want to power a project boat with orginal stern drives. Inboards will allow for more fishing area in the back of the boat. I'd really like twins for close offshore fishing. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes an inboard engine in the 150 hp range, not diesel$$? I don't know much about this, just starting to looking into everything. Thanks for any help.
