Mercruiser 43 starter problems need advice

"Beutiful day today. And would you know that after about 10 starts on the water my starter just spun. Makeing a wineing noise. So I'm assumming needing new starter I Hope. Theres a shop in my town that rebuilds starters. What do you guys think. Is rebuilding an option or should I buy new ?
Next question is on ebay I seen these mini starters. Are these any good and will they work on my engine. Heres the link

this starter cost around 70 bucks after shipping but will it work?

Not a thing wrong w/it as long as they know what to do w/a marine starter per CG regs. Mine is a remanufactured starter whereas all parts are either replaced or remfgd. to original spec. Rebuilt starters are inspected and repaired as needed; but still only as good as the technician.

Could someone tell me if I would be wasteing time and money on this starter. It's like 1/3 cost of the original replacement. Probably less than what getting my old one rebuilt."
