Mercruiser 3.0L oil drain plug size?

hello, am looking for an oil drain hose for my 2003 mercruiser 3.0L 4 cyl engine, does anyone know the size of the oil drain plug. Either 3/8 by 18, or 1/2 by 20? thank you

Ayuh,.... Chevies were always 1/2" - 20,.... Donno when or if they went metric,....

Find the oil system diagram for your engine, find the oil drain plug, look at the description for the part/oil plug (it may identify the size) and it may also specify a oil drain boat bilge plug oil drain hose for your engine. I'd probably order a new plug (spare) for the hose.
